Runner’s Gear Summer Round-up Guide!

Summer is a great time to get back into your running routine; or for the new runner’s out there, start a running routine! In order to prepare yourself for the running season ahead, I’ve compiled a list of running gear that will help prepare you and motivate you for those hot day runs:

Road M2v3Nothing will get you out the door like a new pair of comfy running shoes! These shoes are nice and lightweight, but still offers a good amount of support. They’re great because they can definitely go the distance for long runs, but due to the lightweight design, they work well for short sprints as well. Fuel Belt’s Helium Sprint Palm Holder: On hot days, hydration is key! I like this water bottle because it fits nicely in my palm and is small enough that it doesn’t get annoying to carry. I just fill it up at water fountains along the way on my run.

Women’s White Running Hat C9 ChampionDon’t leave home without a hat on sunny days! Keeping your head covered will protect your face from harmful UV rays and protecting your head from the sun will also help to keep your body temperature down.

After your runs make sure to stretch and hydrate. I recommend this runner’s yoga flow to help you cool down and help prevent soreness.
