Naked Nutrition

I am so excited to share a brand new protein bar with you that is made with only five clean ingredients. I’m always on the look out for a healthy and tasty protein bar that isn’t full of crap. Often I don’t have time to eat a full meal; and with my active lifestyle, I have to eat frequently to stay fueled.

I try to eat as clean as possible, and also need the right kind of snack that keeps me energized and doesn’t weigh me down. A bar is a good snack to have on hand when needed. I always tell my clients and students to look for a bar that has less sugar than protein and has some added fiber.

Naked Nutrition provides 15 grams of protein from grass fed whey. The only other ingredients are peanuts and peanut flour, grape juice and rice syrup. I can pronounce everything in the bar! The Naked Bar comes in two delicious flavors, peanut butter or chocolate almond. The chocolate almond uses almond flour and almond butter and has some added cocoa. I love both flavors; but the peanut butter is my favorite!

Why Naked Bar Is a Great On The Go Snack

As a yoga teacher and active mom, I want something protein-packed to get me through the day. I usually find that around 3pm is when my mind and body both need a little boost to get me to dinner time. I often have a Naked Bar then; or sometimes if I’m in a super huge rush in the morning it becomes my on the go breakfast or pre-workout snack. Naked Bars are easy to stash in my backpack or purse; and I love to travel on long road trips or plane rides with them.

Protein In Your Diet

Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. Our bodies use protein to build and repair tissues. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. I find when I add protein to every meal, my blood sugar stays steady and I am not as hungry throughout the day.

I truly appreciate that Naked Bar doesn’t use any artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols and that they are gluten and soy free. Timothy really likes the peanut butter one as well; and my husband (who usually hates bars!) actually likes the chocolate almond. He said it’s the first bar that doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste behind.

I recommend you check  Naked Bars out and would love to hear what your favorite bars are these days.
