My Morning Routine with Orgain
As a working mom I am always running somewhere! Whether it’s picking Timothy up at school, running the kids to the park or running (or cycling) to teach a private lesson or class; my life is crazy. I love being able to spend time with my kids; but I also love my job. I like to balance the best of both worlds as much as possible.
My Morning Routine:
First thing in the morning I wake up early with the twins and get their diapers changed and bottles filled. I usually do a little yoga or meditation or ab work while they play. Then it’s time to wake up Timothy and make breakfast for all of the boys. I jump in the shower and get dressed, get Timothy ready for school. When my nanny comes, I run out the door to walk Timothy to school and then head off to teach all morning.
Juggling it all is hard at times; and I have to make a few sacrifices here and there. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals, eggs, avocado toast or greek yogurt with berries are usually my choices. On the very hectic mornings when I can’t sit down to eat, I like to grab something quick that is rich in nutrients, tastes good, and keeps me going. I make a smoothie with Orgain protein powder, berries, ice, half a banana and some vanilla almond milk and I am good to go. On really crazy days, I grab an Orgain shake in a bottle.
Protein Powder:
I really like Orgain plant based protein powder. Out of all the plant based protein powders, Orgain is the only one that blends well and tastes good. Other powders I’ve tried have been tasteless and don’t mix smoothly. The chocolate or vanilla powder is delicious and I recently discovered the peanut butter which is awesome! I blend it with a frozen banana and some almond milk and it tastes like dessert. Even just mixed with water, it is truly delicious. The powder has 21g of organic protein, 5g of fiber, and no added sugar. Each serving is a healthy and delicious energy boost to help you power through a workout or just a busy day.
One of my favorite recipes on the days I really need a boost is:
1 scoop chocolate Orgain protein powder
Half a cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup coffee or espresso (chilled)
1/2 frozen banana
1 tsp peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
Ice
Blend all and have for a morning pick me up!

Where to Shop for Orgain Powders
Who doesn’t love going to Target and shopping around for many things? I know I go to Target with a list and I end up walking out with more than I anticipated. The best news is that now when I go to Target is that I can also shop for Orgain Chocolate Organic Protein Plant Based Powder. I love Target and being able to buy my favorite products makes it even better. The price point is amazing and even my boys like my Orgain shakes. If you don’t have a Target near you, you can go online to find a store near you to purchase Orgain and get some great coupons!!!
