Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is fast approaching! I often don’t want much for Mother’s day besides flowers and time with the kids; but it is nice to have some options to gift that special woman in your life (or to send to your husband). I love to spoil my mom, she is the world to me. I hate that she is so far away from us and I often send her flowers and something extra special, even if it’s small.  If you’re at a loss for what to get your mom (or grandma, or sister, or aunt) this year, I’ve got some inspiration for you.

Endangered Species Chocolate

I have raved about this chocolate before. Most of the Endangered Species Chocolate bars are vegan (made with oat milk) and gluten-free – completely safe for every and any mama. They have so many fun and flavors – there’s something for everyone. Chocolate with a heartfelt card is a fantastic gift. (Bonus: you can note that your purchase is going to help support endangered wildlife). I truly love Endangered species chocolate and have some squares every night for dessert. The packaging is pretty too so you don’t even have to wrap it. Check out the dark chocolate cherry bars, they are my favorite!

Aera For Home

The Aera diffusers are life-changing. Aera has a super sleek design and fits effortlessly into the decor of any room. With their timed settings, you can ensure that any room smells heavenly before you get home. An Aera for Home is the perfect gift for moms who have so many crazy odors in their home from cooking to dirty laundry. I have three young boys and the Aera is awesome when I need a fresh scent. My mom is usually one to light candles and when I got her an Aera last year she was so happy.

Peloton App Subscription

A subscription to Peloton opens up a whole world of fitness – perfect for the mamas that want to get or stay in shape. It’s the gift that keeps on giving because classes are uploaded regularly for any and every skill level. Plus, you get the first 30 days free. I have pre and postnatal classes on the app as well as Family yoga classes. I love the slow flow, restorative and power classes as well. Check out my new Pilates on the app too!

Mighty Nest Food Huggers

Any of the products from Mighty Nest are a great buy! All of their products are eco-friendly and promote living a greener lifestyle. In my house, we consistently use the Food Huggers to save and store leftover produce. They keep things fresh with an airtight seal and have saved us from a lot of wasted food. Mighty Nest products or even a (Mighty Fix subscription) are the ideal gifts for anyone trying to go green. I eat avocados every day and these avocado shaped huggers are my favorite.

Chair Yoga Book

My book, Chair Yoga: Sit, Stretch, and Strengthen Your Way to a Happier, Healthier You, is the gift for any wonderful women who are stuck working in a chair all day. In this book, I outline 100 different yoga poses and exercises that can be done from a chair. This books is perfect for those who are short on time and looking to get a little more movement into their day.

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost Mother’s Day – this year is flying by. I’ll be spending Mother’s Day with my boys and doing some yoga for myself as well as sneaking in a manicure/pedicure (also a wonderful gift to pamper a mom with). I’m excited to see what my boys will have cooked up for me this year.
