When I was 8 months pregnant with the twins, I did a prenatal DVD collaboration with Erica Ziel. She is a Goddess for moms. This time around I’m really struggling to return to my pre-baby body, completely understandable after twins via c-section, but still frustrating and discouraging in the brain of a fitness professional. I’m trying to be kind and considerate of my body and realistic about my recovery expectations. That doesn’t mean I don’t have days of low self-esteem like anybody else. Erica has been in your shoes. She had her own experiences with abdominal separation after her third was born, here’s what she says:

I know what it’s like to be in pain and be frustrated thinking there’s nothing you can do about it– when the reality is – YOU CAN do something about those annoying aches and pains, strengthen you core, heal abdominal separation once and for all and feel like yourself again! I look back at my childhood, and while it was a good one, a big part that was a part of my life was the pain I suffered and how learning to heal my own body through movement and making the proper ‘connections’ {fascial connections that is} I knew this was my path to change lives!”
