Facial Mask For Glowing Skin this Summer!
Yoga and Meditation are the best stress relievers I know of. Summer time is filled with fun and activity; but it can still be stressful with travel, having to still work, kids schedules, etc. Stress wreaks havoc on our skin. The best way to alleviate stress is to sit and chill out for a few minutes each day. Why not kill two birds with one stone? Apply a facial mask, sit quietly, close your eyes, and watch your breath for 5 to 10 minutes.
Combine 2 large ripe strawberries with ½ of a kiwi and a ¼ of papaya. Mash all together in a bowl, add a dollop of yogurt (which can also help when your skin gets burned or overly tanned) and mix. If you want to add a squeeze or lemon or honey you can as well. Smooth the mixture over you face. If the summer heat is getting to you, you can refrigerate the mixture first so you have a cooling mask. Sit in a comfortable seat, close your eyes, and watch your breath. Try and let any and all tension melt from your body. If you can, stay for 5 to 10 or even 20 minutes. Rinse your face with cool water once you’re finished, apply a moisturizing sunscreen and head outside to enjoy the sun!
