The Core Rehab Program
One of my favorite things about being in the fitness industry, is meeting and working with incredible, inspirational trainers and teachers in my field. Erica Ziel is a tour de force, a mama of three, an awesome Pilates teacher, author and DVD star. We teamed up at the end of the year (when I was about 8 months preggers!) and shot a yoga/Pilates/workout DVD for pre and postnatal moms. I cannot wait to share it with you all!
Erica’s expertise is in core rehab and recovery as well as preventing and healing diastasis recti. Diastasis recti is a separation of the rectus abominal muscles, or the front layer or our abs. Pregnancy can cause the muscle to split from left to right. Women with this issue can still look pregnant months after giving birth and will need to carefully work on bringing the space back together. It’s important to avoid certain exercises and work carefully when recovering from diastasis and giving birth.
Erica has created an incredible core rehab program that can help all mamas regain core strength, get their bodies back in shape and heal from diastasis recti, if they have it.
