New Power Garden Naked Juice Blends & Pin it to Win it Contest!
I love all fruits and veggies. When I was a little girl, my mom used to slice open a bell pepper for me as an afternoon snack; or cut open a fresh pomegranate when they were in season. When I’m on the run, it’s great to have a refreshing fruit or veggie drink. Naked Juice has just come out with some new flavors in their Power Garden line; and I am absolutely loving them!
Both of these new flavors are less caloric then most juices and smoothies. The Tomato Kick is only 60 calories per serving and has 3 grams of fiber and even 2 grams of protein. I’ve always been a fan of tomato juice, but many cans have way too much sodium added. Naked Tomato Kick only has 200mg of sodium and a whopping 450mg of potassium per serving.
Berry Veggie has 130 calories per serving with 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. The sugar content isn’t too high, at 18 grams with all of it naturally occurring from fruits and vegetables. Sweet cherries are one of the main ingredients in the Berry Veggie. The drink is so tasty. Berry Veggie is also a great post workout drink because the antioxidants in cherries help muscles recover more quickly. Cherry juice is also a perfect bedtime beverage since cherries naturally contain melatonin, which is a sleep aid.
Here is one of my favorite ways to enjoy these new Power Garden Blends:
1 serving of Berry Veggie (half of the bottle), 1/2 cup of plain organic low-fat yogurt, 1/4 cup frozen raspberries, and a dash of cinnamon. Add ice and mix everything together, blending until smooth and thick. Add a strawberry or cherry for garnish.
