I remember as a little girl how much I loved fresh picked tomatoes from the garden. My mom would slice them thin and we’d add a sprinkle of sugar to bring out their sweetness. I loved popping cherry tomatoes straight from the vine, or helping my mom make tomato sauces and gazpachos with all of the fresh garden tomatoes and vegetables.
I really like Naked Garden’s Tomato Kick Power Garden juice, it tastes like the veggies were just picked and juiced right then. I can taste a hint of sweetness in the tomatoes and the juice is not too salty at all. I find most tomato vegetable juices are heavy on the salt. Tomato Kick is light, refreshing and tasty.
Last week I posted a Power Garden recipe using Naked’s Berry Veggie juice. To enter to win the Naked Power Garden Sweepstakes, you can vote for my recipe or any of the recipes on Bliss by Glam’s Facebook Page. All of the recipes are so creative and look delicious! Also make sure to check out Bliss’s Power Up Pinterest board, where you can vote as well. Voters will be entered to win a basket full of gardening goodies worth over $250!
1 serving of Tomato Kick poured over ice with a squeeze of lemon, a dash of tabasco, sprinkled with paprika, cayenne and black pepper, with a celery stick for garnish. If I weren’t pregnant, I would add a splash of vodka for a delicious, low cal, Bloody Mary.
