Joie de Vivre
I have returned to Paris to shoot another round of programs for CoachClub. I always have to pinch myself, I just can’t believe how fortunate I am. I really love being here. I especially appreciate the little things: my walk across the bridge over the Seine in the morning and evening, a friendly “bon appetit” before each meal, my awesome little flat in Boulogne-Billancourt, the grocery market here and seeing the young French children playing outside in the park. My blackberry doesn’t work overseas; and I only get on line at the very end of the day when I return home to my flat and laptop. I am more present to my surroundings and to my feelings. When I walk around with my head glued to my blackberry in NYC, keeping up with my schedule, clients, twitter, FB, etc., I miss out on so many moments. I’ve even discovered (as much as I love to share everything with you all) that I really don’t feel like blogging so much this go round. The weather has been amazing and I think my front porch is calling me to go outside and enjoy a glass of wine and take in more of this incredible experience.
If you don’t hear from me for a while, Paris has captured me! I will make sure to fill you in on everything, though, once I return back to NYC and my crazy lifestyle. For now, I just want to live the moment–“Joie de vivre”!
