Indie Lee–All Natural Beauty Products
As a yogi, I’m always interested in using organic, natural products when I can. I buy local, organic produce from the farmer’s market, I look for organic cleaning products for our home, and I love to find clothes, sheets and towels that are sourced from organic materials. Most recently, I’ve really started to pay attention to the products I use on my skin and hair.
Once I found out I was pregnant, I looked at my current skin care products and realized a majority might not be the best for me and my growing baby. Our skin is our largest organ, it’s important to protect it, nourish it, and make sure what we’re putting on it isn’t something that can hurt us in the future. Now that I have not only myself to take care of; but also a budding life inside of me, I’m super interested in finding products for my skin that are 100% safe and natural.
I was thrilled when I discovered Indie Lee, a line of all natural beauty products, including a baby skin care line. Indie Lee, the founder, says “remember green is sexy”. I love that! She also says, “What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. We must nurture our soul to let our inner beauty shine through. Live life to its fullest, one moment at a time.” The entire line is more than just a way to cleanse and moisturize our skin, it’s a philosophy for living life in a way that helps us connect to our own natural beauty.
I’m obsessed with the coconut citrus body scrub. It smells amazing, and it really helps slough off my dry winter skin. I think it will be perfect for the spring and summer months to keep my skin looking and feeling super soft for shorts, swimsuits, summer tops and dresses. I’m still going to wear my bikini even as a pregnant mama!
I also really like the cleansing bar in lemongrass, it smells so fresh; and it’s super invigorating on those mornings I’m having a hard time waking up. I wash my face with it and instantly feel alive. The bars are good for all skin types and they last for a long time.
I’m using the squalane facial oil on my face and my baby bump nightly. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is making my skin softer and clearer. I was afraid that the oil might make me break out; but it’s actually been great. I also tend to have very dry skin in some areas, and it’s helping my dry patches. I even rub it in to my scalp.
Thank you Indie for creating such a great line of all natural products. I’m sure I’ll be getting some belly balm soon, and then some baby balm once the little one comes!
