Get Fitter Than Ever Without Spending A Fortune!
Many people say that they just can’t afford to get fit. They think that getting fit requires them to buy all kinds of fancy equipment, or pay for an expensive gym membership and pricey health foods. The truth is, you can get fitter than ever without spending all of your money on supplements and equipment. These tips will help you out!
Start Tracking What You Eat
As long as you’re not eating takeout and chocolate bars every single day, then you should be able to eat similarly to the way you’re eating now. Just start tracking what you eat instead. Apps like MyFitnessPal are free, and you can input the foods you’re eating into them. You can see how many calories you’re consuming, as well as the proteins, fats, and carbs. You can then tweak your diet according to your goals. If you don’t know how much protein, fat, and carbs you should be eating to begin with, use an online calculator to help you.
Find Ways To Exercise Outside
Find ways to exercise outside so you don’t need an expensive gym membership. You can go for runs, walks, and even use benches and playground equipment to take fitness to the next level. Get creative and see what you can do! I always do this when I’m with Timothy outside playing.
Incorporate Exercise Into Your Everyday Life
Start incorporating more exercise into your daily life, and it will add up. You could walk more by parking your car further away. You could take the stairs rather than the elevator. You could even get a stand up desk or if you find yourself sitting down most of the day try some of my Chair Yoga (book coming out in January 2017)! By making changes like this daily, you’ll increase your fitness in no time.
Youtube is a great resource and it’s free. You can learn fitness and diet tips from professionals, as well as get examples of great workouts and exercises. You can even get advice on how to use good form, so you know you’re doing it right and getting the most out of your workouts. You can even get some cost effective guides that will help you to do it with minimal equipment. You’ve probably heard of Kayla Itsines, if not, you can read more about Kayla Isines here; but her guides aren’t that inexpensive, so save your money and use the free resources instead.
Finally, the key is not to give up. If you give up too early, you’re not going to see the results you could get. Long term changes are better than quick fixes. This is why your new routine needs to be something you can stick to. You should enjoy it!
