Father’s Day Gift Guide
With Father’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to start shopping for the men in your life. I used to think it was so hard to find gifts for guys; but now there are so many cool things out there! The best thing about the boys, is they really don’t require much. I think most men just want some acknowledgment. I’ve compiled a list of some ideas you may not have thought of tailored for your father, grandfather or husband.
Playable Gold Dipped Golf Balls–My dad will always hold such a special place in my heart, I am the only girl in my family and I hold him on a pedestal. He would do anything and everything for me. He’s a huge golfer so I found these really cool gold dipped balls that he can actually play with. I like to get my daddy something different and memorable. My mom and dad live in Idaho and it feels so far away from NYC. I hope he remembers how much I love him and think of him daily every time he is on the golf course (which is a lot!).
Vim & Vigr Compression Socks–My dad is surgeon and he is on his feet all day long. I recently gave him a pair of Vim & Vigr socks for Christmas and he loves them. Vim & Vigr are super stylish compression socks. My dad is known for dressing very sharply at the office from his ties to his shoes to his socks. Having a cool pair of socks that are also beneficial for him is a win win. I will include some of the socks with the golf balls and he will be all set. The socks are well worth the price for sure.
Perfect Shaker Superman Cup–This is a super cute gift for my boys to give to my husband. Timothy has really been in to making smoothies lately and it’s a great way for me as a mom to get more healthy fruits and veggies in to his diet. I think it will be awesome for Timothy to make dad his own special smoothie in a super cup and surprise him for his breakfast in bed.
Rootz Nutrition Superfood Pancakes–Speaking of breakfast in bed, I am psyched to make some paleo pancakes for my husband. We are both on a mission to get back in shape for the summer and I love to inspire him to eat healthy but still make food taste great. I recently discovered rootz nutrition and I don’t follow a paleo diet but I do love their chocolate banana protein superfood. I add it to my overnight oats, make shakes out of it and use it when baking. For the recipe check out this link. My hubby loves bananas and chocolate so this is the ideal yummy breakfast along with Timothy’s smoothie.
Kelty Siro Hiking Backpack–The main thing my husband and I have in common, is our love for adventures, activities, nature and sports. We went on a huge hiking trip together the first summer after we met. We love to ski, cycle and get outdoors for hiking, canoeing, you name it. I thought a neat gift to inspire us to do more (it’s hard living in the city; but we do have access to some amazing hiking spots not far at all) hiking and time in nature is the Kelty backpack. Ketly really makes quality hiking backpacks that still won’t break the bank.
So what are you getting the men in your life this Father’s Day? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
