Facelift Yoga and Tips for a Glowing Face!
Want a free, natural face lift? Skip the expensive creams or Botox, and incorporate facial exercises into your daily routine. Our faces contain a whopping forty-three muscles that can be tightened using a number of poses. These simple moves only take a few minutes out of your day, but the rewards will be long-lasting. By incorporating facial exercises into your daily routine, your muscles will relax, ultimately reducing wrinkles. And the benefits aren’t only physical – they can also help improve your mental health. Smiling and stretching the mouth can boost one’s mood and strengthen the mind-body connection.
One of my favorite facial poses, included in Chair Yoga, is the Lower Jaw Over Top Teeth. This is a great exercise to stretch out your jaw, prevent neck wrinkles, or just give yourself a break when you need to think. To start, take your lower jaw and lift it over your top teeth. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds, and repeat three times. This move will stretch the entire underside of the jaw and neck.
